The participants were 138 first-year professional bachelor&#8217;s degree students in office management. They were assessed by means of portfolio assessment in a course that combined constructivist design principles and lectures. Approaches to learning and assessment preferences were measured by means of the Revised Two-Factor Study Process Questionnaire and the Assessment Preferences Inventory. <span style=\"font-weight: bold\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Results showed that students&#8216; preferences for student participation in examination and for permanent evaluation decreased significantly. Moreover, deep approaches were not enhanced. On the contrary, surface learning increased significantly <\/span>[Hervorhebung, KF]<span style=\"font-weight: bold\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">.\u00a0<\/span>Notwithstanding, the surface approach proved to be a significant negative predictor of the portfolio assessment score.\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In den &#8222;Conclusions&#8220; diskutieren die Autoren einige m\u00f6gliche Antworten zu diesen \u201c doch eher ern\u00fcchternden \u201c Befunden:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Die von den Studierenden wahrgenommene Arbeitsbelastung (workload) und oberfl\u00e4chiges Lernen sind miteinander verkn\u00fcpft.<\/li>\n<li>Studierende wenden sich keinem tiefergehenden Lernen zu, wenn sie dazu nicht motiviert sind.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Beides leuchtet auf den ersten Blick ein. Was aber doch sehr erstaunt ist der zus\u00e4tzliche Befund, dass Studierenden sich sehr neutral gegen\u00fcber neueren Formen der Leistungs\u00fcberpr\u00fcfung \u00e4ussern (so wie das Portfolio) und eine hohe Pr\u00e4ferenz f\u00fcr geschlossene schriftliche Pr\u00fcfungsformen mit Zeitdruck haben.<\/p>\n<p>Mmh&#8230; da scheinen doch noch einige Schritte in Richtung neue Lehr-\/Lernformen und damit einhergehende auch vielf\u00e4ltigere Pr\u00fcfungsformen notwendig zu sein \u201c und dies nicht nur bei den Dozierenden!<\/p>\n<p>Quelle: Baeten, M., Dochy, F. &amp; Struvyen, K.
